RCC Door Frames

Precast Concrete Door/Window frames (chaukhats) are made out of cement, sand, aggregates mixed in suitable proportions to obtain the desired strength along with fiber and super-plasticize. The mix is vibrated for some time in the vibrating table to compact the concrete. Steel bars are used as reinforcement for manufacturing Door/Window frames.

These can be extensively used in all building construction activities as substitutes to conventional timber door/ window frames. Concrete door and window frames compare in strength, durability and quality with traditional timber door & window frames at a substantial cost saving. Commercial levels of production can be taken up at a low level of investment and with minimal training.

This new production methodology based on the use of patented chaukhat making machine ensures speedier production of quality components using limited unskilled workforce. One machine is capable of casting four door frames or five window frames per day. Precast concrete door/window frames are 30-40% cheaper than ordinary sal wood chaukhats and 10-15% cheaper than angle iron frames.
